There are no honorable mentions. 2008 should be ashamed.

Ethan and I both hold a strict policy of hating/being severely dissapointed by Skeletal Lamping. Sorry, everyone. It's just...sigh.

Also, Ethan, what the shiz do you think you're doing? Original panels? You couldn't just copy and paste like me? Way to one-up me there. Gahd.

Holy SHIT I feel so lame because I only recognise Beck, Death Cab for Cutie, Conor Oberst and The Mountain Goats from that list (and I think even fewer from Max's). You make me feel like I wouldn't even qualify as zombie fodder BUT I LOVE YOU GUYS ANYWAY. Seriously, your comics are stalk-worthy. And musically educational! Go you 8D

You should only feel bad if you recognize EVERYONE on our lists. Because we have no lives :(

^ I lol'd.

A few of these I've only heard of and never heard, but yeah, 2008 was a mediocre year. Brian Eno is gold all the time. >:D Also, I think Skeletal Lamping would be better if Kevin Barnes wasn't taking Viagra in large doses during its recording.

I'm going to be a jerk, but they're getting more mainstream and I don't really like the fanbase no mo'... (can you say screaming pre-pubescent girls?) At least the packaging was cool.

In the year of two thousand and eight, Brian Eno collaborated with David Byrne, who is best known as one of the Talking Heads. Their collaboration resulted in an album. I myself am in possession of a t-shirt related to their music, such as the ones found at concerts or Hot Topic. This knowledge, as well as my t-shirt, cement my place as a knowledgeable music aficionado.

Aaah! What's with all the Skeletal Lamping hate? Why am I one of the only people I know who doesn't hate Skeletal Lamping daragahdaafgfafrgaf

I didn't hate it, per se. It had its moments-- "Touched Something Hollow"/"An Eluardian Instance" comes to mind. I just think he ran a little to far with the whole '70s porn funk thing.
