Because MCR is only acceptable as a projectile.

Also, don't think I don't see Modern Guilt in the background. You subliminal advertiser.

Oh! I heard this weird obscure band I bet you guys have never ever heard of. Um... "The Beatles?"

Jakey m'boy, that would be funnier if it wasn't the only thing you listen to.

Or maybe that's why it's as funny as it is. Hrm.

Heard of Vanilla Ninja? Or Ska Faktor?

Didn't think so. I win.

Vanilla Ninja, oddly yes. I don't want to talk about that day.

But Ska Faktor, you got me. There is no way I'd listen to anything with "ska" anywhere near it.

This is looking a little better. Nice hierarchy in the lines (i.e. thicker for outlines, thinner for details). The expressions also look a bit more inventive and distinct. The background is unfinished (parts still in pencil?) and poorly defined. If the setting is important, especially if it's specifically referenced in the text, we should be able to tell where they are just by looking. Also, the text is a bit hard to read when you cram it in. Try plotting the comic out with thumbnails so you can space the balloons better. Also, it would be nice if we could see more of Ethan (Note: try avoiding CAD character names) throwing the CD in the third to last panel. Or, alternatively, you could lose that panel all together and just go straight from Trevor smiling to Trevor with head wound. On that note, aren't "person responds to foolish opinion with violence" comics a bit played out?
